How Can You Avoid Blurry Selfies On Your iPhone

Taking selfies on your iPhone is cool but how many times have you taken blurry photos? Most of the times right. No it is not the problem of your iPhone, it’s the problem in your technique of taking a selfie. You won’t believe, what a right technique would do to the quality of photos. Let’s take a look at some tips which will make your selfies even more awesome.
  1. Focus: Blurry photos are mainly caused because you aren’t focusing the image properly. While taking a selfie, focus on the important parts of the photo like your face rather than the background. A background focus would lead to a blurry face. This would mean the image will be focused onto something which isn’t of importance. Most people don’t focus the image, it may work sometimes but most of the times the phone would autofocus to an incorrect subject. Therefore, always try on focusing to take an amazing selfie.
  2. Autofocus: All iPhones have autofocus and we rely a lot on it while taking a selfie. Focusing is really easy on iPhone. All that’s needed to do is just tap on the part of the image which needs to be focused. But the problem isn’t only that, sometimes the iPhone tends to refocus the photo even if you have focused it earlier. You can lock a focus with the help of AE/AF lock tool that’s present in the iPhone’s stock camera application.
  3. Camera Shake: No matter how good the background light is and how good your focus is, still, your image could be blurred. This is because you are shaking your iPhone while taking a selfie picture. Keep your phone steady while you are taking a picture. This would considerably improve quality of your selfie. If you don’t have any equipment, then take a comfortable position before you’re taking a selfie, this would give you a stable position and you won’t shake your phone. Nowadays a selfie stick is becoming very popular which would give your iPhone a stable platform for a good selfie.
  4. Subject motion: Your image can be blurred also if you are moving your head while taking the selfie. This is one more thing that can improve your selfie. Apart from stabilizing your iPhone while taking the photo, you also need to keep your head stable. This is called subject blur, this may happen if you move while taking an image. Avoid moving while taking your selfie to get that perfect pic with your loved ones or if you’re alone.
